How to Find Targeted Customers on Facebook?

Facebook has proved to be one of the most convenient and inexpensive ways of finding new customers or addressing the existing ones. However, it is not easy to identify your potential customers in this widespread social network flooded with billions of users. So, if you are looking to use Facebook Ads to grab the attention of new customers, here are a few recommendations which will help you attract the customers you need.

Use Advance Targeting Options

Facebook ads provide you with several advanced targeting options allowing you to filter a highly complex and vast audience. To access these options, go to your Facebook page and click Build Audience button in the top right corner. Choose the option Use Ads Manager in the dropdown menu. In the top right corner of the next page, click the green button stating Create Ad. In the Advertise on Facebook page, access Page Likes tab in the navigation bar on left. Therein, you are provided with the advanced targeting options under the Audience tab.

How to Find Targeted Customers on Facebook

Narrow Down the Targeted Location

If you are a local business operating within a city or a state, you don’t need to waste your money addressing irrelevant markets. Facebook’s Advanced Targeting Options allow you to narrow down the location where your fan page should be advertised. By default, the Location segment shows the name of the country you have provided in the details. However, you can further filter your audience by providing the State/Province, City or ZIP too.

Target Audience through Multiple Interests

Another targeting option which allows you to find your desired customer segment is through their interests. On the Advertise on Facebook page, you will find a blank field next to Interests in the Audience section. In this option, you can give a maximum of 4 to 10 interests. The more interests you put in the better. These interests help filter the audiences effectively so your ad is seen by the people most likely to be interested in it. For instance, if you are running a hotel, you can tag several interest categories like food, living, traveling, etc.

Target New or Existing Users

Before designing your Facebook ad campaign, you need to adapt a policy based on whether you are looking for new audience or reaching out to those who have already liked your page. In the Connections option, you can choose between the people who are connected with your Facebook fan page, while in advanced connection targeting, you can choose the people connected to other pages as well.

You can also Buy Targeted Facebook Fans, if it gets too confusing for you and you want the services of a professional.
